The slope is too steep, I'm falling.
The plateau at the top looks like paradise.

My hands are losing their strength.
This is as far as I can go.
There I am, caught in a slope so steep and slippery.
Any instant I lose my foothold, I'll slide quickly backwards.

It is within reach.
